Even though we offer pre-packaged wedding options, we meet with each couple to learn about you, about your wedding, and about the style of project you're interested in. We work through the various options, and come up with a price which includes all the elements of the final product.
Before the wedding, we'll work with your minister, wedding planner, and others to determine the optimum position for camera placement at the ceremony to ensure we capture the important moments while being as unobtrusive as possible.
On the day of your wedding, we will arrive on location in sufficient time to be set up before the guests arrive. If we're filming your preparations or interviews of you, your bridal party, or your guests, we'll arrange ample time for those items as well. We typically shoot footage of the location, the arrival of guests, and other scene-setting elements.
Before the ceremony begins, we'll place a high-quality microphone on the groom, and often other microphones as necessary. Audio clarity is equally as important to us as video image quality. Using at least two cameras, we will capture multiple angles of the wedding ceremony, which ensures that every word, facial expression, and movement is recorded. The exit from the church will be filmed, as will reception festivities if elected.
Once all of the footage has been captured, we then return to our studio in order to edit your feature and to produce the copies you need. Any final elements, such as photos from the wedding, will be added to the project at this point. Once the project has been completed, you can pick up your DVDs and tapes, or we will deliver or ship them to you.
AVP keeps copies of all projects, so any future orders (such as a copy for relatives who couldn't make it) will always be available.
We work to make sure you're comfortable and have no worries about your videography. We know that a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and there are no opportunities for re-shooting. We tailor our work to your needs, but have the experience to attend to the details you may not have considered.
